The Salem School District has constructed a Physical Education/Fine Arts building on the elementary school campus. Sixty one (61%) percent of the project was funded with money received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Federal stimulus money). Final cost for the Salem School District was $356,491.03 and the building was completed as scheduled on August 1, 2010. The building has an art classroom, music classroom, and physical education classroom.
It is the mission of the Salem Schools to educate all students in a safe environment. Our schools will provide a challenging curriculum promoting higher-order thinking skills, technology skills, and problem-solving abilities through relevant and engaging activities. We will provide the experiences necessary for all students to become responsible citizens.
